We’re pleased to announce that we kicked off in style with the first of what will be an annual fundraising event for Fredericks. We decided to try something new, something dark, something tasteful.
Held at the famous Dans Le Noir restaurant, our Gourmet Challenge determined which financial company has the best blind taste buds in London.
Participants were led into complete darkness to taste and guess the delicious wine and food cooked by MasterChef finalist and client of Fredericks, Ben Piette. This enticing experience was followed by the world’s first auction in the dark hosted by celebrity auctioneer Jamie Breese, which saw an array of kindly donated items.
Every pound of the £16,000 raised has come directly to Fredericks, thanks to the generosity from all involved. This will enable us to work with Lester, a Royal Marines reservist who approached Fredericks for help building his book keeping business, and contribute towards the funding of other inspirational people who have come to Fredericks for support with their business dreams.
We would like to thank everyone who gave their time or donations to make this event come to life and congratulations to Libra, the current taste bud champions of the finance industry. But who will take the crown next year?
