Hear it on the radio

Tuesday, July 12th, 2011

I was interviewed on Swindon Community radio 105.5 Monday 4th July 6-7pm. “Mind your own Business” is a weekly show run by The Federation of Small Business. They are looking at informing local people about local issues for small business.

This was an ideal opportunity for Fredericks to get the message out that we are active in the town & Shire and have funds to help people start up there own business. To endorse this message Derek Brown, one of my clients, also attended. Derek was ideal as he had been approved funding in April to modify and upgrade motorcyles into racing colours. On his panel was Jonathan Loader, a local entrepreneur who runs his owning racing team “Loaded Gun” and because they got on well he agreed to be Derek’s busines mentor.

This is the second time Fredericks have been featured on the show. Next up is a chance for me to join a group of people to meet and interview Eddie Shah about his plans for RAF Lyneham should the Government decide to close the base. Fredericks are on the map!

Terri goes glamping

No idea how many days, all I know is it is way too close for comfort. The stress is starting to kick in now!

I have done no walking since the last blog!

I have not set foot in the Outdoors shop since the last blog!

I have not even put my walking boots on since the last blog!

“What have you done?”…I hear you all cry….”Camping! That’s what I have done…..camping!”

So I packed up my fluffy pillows, double air bed, big warm duvet, a cool box full of ice cold cider and a 4 bottle box of wine.

After setting up the tent I felt completely done in, so poured a cider and painted my nails a lovely shade of pink.

It was all going well until I spotted an earwig, way too close to my bed. So there was a bit of a screaming dance that followed and  my best friend was forced to rescue me from it!

This is not good. I can see that it may not end well. But then there may not be any earwigs in the Namibian Desert.
