Plane Industries Case Study
Using reclaimed, authentic aircraft parts, from both military and civilian aircraft steeped in history, Plane Industries (previously Fallen Furniture) was created by brothers Harry and Ben in 2012.
Harry and Ben take pride in exploring the most innovative ways to breathe new life into these remarkable feats of engineering to design and create pieces of art and furniture. Each piece of furniture is meticulously crafted with an emphasis on originality and personality, resulting in a distinctive and decorative tribute to aviation heritage and engineering.
Despite having an excellent credit report and an innovative idea, unfortunately the banks would not lend due to the brothers young age. However this did not stop the talented brothers who successfully applied for a loan from Fredericks Foundation.
Since then the brothers have continued to grow their business and now produce more affordable and scalable products as well as bespoke items. The brothers are proud to have made items for hundreds of clients and some big companies including, Red Bull, General Electric and Ryanair. The bothers have also gone on to hire further staff and Plane Industries is going from strength to strength. It seems as though the sky is the limit for this wonderful business!
