Handwash without the Greenwash

 Amplify Goods are a diverse, female led social enterprise producing a high quality, low waste range of toiletries including hand wash, shampoo and hand lotion. They are laser focused on reducing the environmental impact of such products through their refill first approach, use of recycled and glass bottles, almost entirely natural ingredients and repurposed cardboard for packaging. Their new product, SUDZERØ is a powder to foam handwash that has a carbon footprint 85% lower than an average hand wash product.

How Amplify Goods make an impact

In addition to their strong environmental credentials, Amplify also provide vital living wage work experience in their packing operation for people facing barriers to employment such as homelessness and disability. They work with organisations such as Beam, Mencap and Praxis who refer people to them for stepping stone work experience, helping them build confidence, skills and the tools to move into long term stable jobs. Their clever impact calculator on their website allows customers to easily calculate the social and environmental impact of their purchase.

Where Fredericks comes in

Amplify needed funding to invest in growth through additions to the team, investing in inventory and working capital. Fredericks provided £40,000 of capital through a Revenue Participation Agreement and was able to help unlock a matching grant through the Pathway Fund/ Do it Now Now.
